We may use “cookies”, beacons or similar electronic tools to collect information to assign each visitor a unique, random number as a User Identification (User ID) to understand the user’s individual interests using the identified computer. Further, any comments, messages, blogs, scribbles etc. posted/uploaded/conveyed/communicated by users on the public sections of the Application becomes published content and is not considered personally identifiable information subject to this Policy.

As Non-Personal Information does not personally identify you, techanalysis.net may use and disclose Non-Personal Information for any purpose.

Disclosure

You accept the inherent security implications of providing information over Internet/ cellular/data networks and will not hold techanalysis.net responsible for any breach of security or the disclosure of Personal Information unless techanalysis.net has been grossly and wilfully negligent.

However, certain data can also be stored in physical form. techanalysis.net may store, collect, process and use your data in countries other than the Republic of India but under full compliance with applicable laws. techanalysis.net may enter into agreement with third parties (in or outside of India) to store your information or data. These third parties may have their own security standards to safeguard your information or data and techanalysis.net will on commercial reasonable basis require such third parties to adopt reasonable security standards to safeguard your information / data.

Notwithstanding anything contained in this Policy or elsewhere, techanalysis.net shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or misuse of your Personal Information, if such loss, damage or misuse is attributable to a Force Majeure Event. A “Force Majeure Event” shall mean any event that is beyond the reasonable control of techanalysis.net and shall include, without limitation, sabotage, fire, flood, explosion, acts of God, civil commotion, strikes or industrial action of any kind, riots, insurrection, war, acts of government, computer hacking, unauthorized access to computer data and storage device, computer crashes, breach of security and encryption, etc.

Third Party Websites, Applications and Services

The Application/website may include links to other websites/applications. Such websites/application are governed by their respective privacy policies, which are beyond our control. Once you leave our servers (you can tell where you are by checking the URL in the location bar on your browser), use of any information you provide is governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the website/application you are visiting. That policy may differ from ours. If you can’t find the privacy policy of any of these websites/application via a link from the website’s homepage, you should contact the website/application directly for more information.

Access, Correction and Deletion

techanalysis.net provides you with all information that techanalysis.net maintains about you such as the transaction and contact information upon proper verification. This may be provided to you on request, in case you experience any doubts. You may request access and/or correct the information techanalysis.net has collected from you by contacting techanalysis.net at dpo@nw18.com. If you wish to have the information or data that you have provided to techanalysis.net deleted, you can always do so by sending a request to us on the e-mail id. You may note that correction or deletion of certain information or data may lead to cancellation of your registration with the Application(s) or your access to certain features of the Application(s). 1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) outlines Moneycontrol Dot Com India Limited’s (“Company”, “we”, or “us”) practices in relation to the storage, use, processing, and disclosure of Personal Information that you have chosen to share with us when you access or use the Credit Information services feature on the mobile application or https://www.moneycontrol.com/credit-score (the Credit Information services feature on the mobile application or https://www.moneycontrol.com/credit-score is referred to as the “Platform”).

1.2 The services we offer you on or through the Platform are referred to as “Services”. Please note that unless specifically defined in this Notice, capitalised terms shall have the same meaning ascribed to them in our Credit Information Services Terms and Conditions, available at http://www.moneycontrol.com/credit-score/terms-and-conditions/ (“Terms”) or the Policy. Please read this Notice in consonance with the Terms and the Policy. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that this Notice sets out the specific datasets we process when you access the Platform. Our processing activities in relation to other services offered by the Company and its affiliates are set out in the Policy.

1.3 At the Company, we are committed to protecting your Personal Information and respecting your privacy. Please read the following terms of the Notice carefully to understand our practices regarding your Personal Information and how we will treat it. This Notice sets out the basis on which any Personal Information we collect from you through the Platform, we collect about you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.

2. THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

2.1 Please note that we only collect and process your Personal Information to provide you with the Services. Such Personal Information includes:

4.1 We will only use your Personal Information in accordance with the applicable law. Most commonly, we will use your Personal Information to provide you with the Services, or where we need to comply with a legal obligation.

  • • To ensure compliance with applicable laws; and
  • • To assist our partners, affiliates, and subsidiaries in providing products and services to you.

4.4 We will not share your Credit Data with third parties under any circumstance.

5. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

5.1 You agree and acknowledge that any and all information pertaining to you, whether or not you directly provide it to us (via the Services or otherwise), including but not limited to personal correspondence such as emails, instructions from you, etc., may be collected, compiled, and shared by us with third parties after obtaining your explicit consent, solely in order to render the Services to you, except where prohibited by applicable law or by credit information companies. This may include but not be limited to our storage providers, data analytics providers, consultants, lawyers, and auditors. We may also share this information with other entities in the Moneycontrol group in connection with the abovementioned purposes. If you fail to provide consent for sharing of such data when requested by us, we may not be able to perform our obligations under the arrangement we have with you or are trying to enter into with you. In this case, we may not be able to provide the Services to you.

6. YOUR RIGHTS IN RELATION TO YOUR INFORMATION

6.1 In addition to the rights detailed under the Policy, under certain circumstances you may also have the right to revoke or withdraw your consent to the processing of your Personal Information.

6.2 We will facilitate your request to exercise such rights subject to the provisions of applicable laws relating to the processing and storage of data. If you wish to exercise any of the rights set out above, please write an email to the Grievance Officer, whose details are mentioned in Section 13 of this Notice, providing in as much detail as possible, the right(s) you wish to exercise. Please also include a description of the Personal Information you believe we hold or process about you, so that we may be able to locate such Personal Information.
