Kia India to Increase Prices of Seltos and Carens by Up to 2% from October 1
Kia India will increase the prices of its Seltos and Carens models by up to 2% from October 1, 2023. The company’s entry-level model Sonet will not be affected by the price increase.
This is the second price increase for the Seltos and Carens models this year. The company had previously hiked prices in April 2023 to conform to Real Driving Emission (RDE) norms.
Kia India National Head (Sales and Marketing) Hardeep S Brar said that the price increase is necessary due to rising raw material prices and the investment that has gone into the new Seltos model.
The price increase will apply to all variants of the Seltos and Carens models. The new prices are expected to be announced closer to the date of the increase.
Kia India also sells an electric model, the EV6, in the country. The price of the EV6 is not expected to be affected by the price increase.
